My story

I began baking sourdough bread as a creative outlet when I was teaching in Beirut, Lebanon. After my first year there I realized that I needed a hobby. I thought to myself, “I think I’d like to make bread…What kind of bread would I like to make? Sourdough sounds interesting.” I had made pizza dough a few times but that was the extend of my bread making. I found a few videos, made a starter, and failed several times. I almost gave up. Then I found a great teacher online that showed me everything I needed. My next loaf came out perfect. I was hooked. Every loaf of bread that comes out of the oven gives me joy. And it gives me even more joy to share it with others. I’m delighted that other people like my bread as much as I do.

These are the breads that I’m currently baking. I will be baking white sourdough every Saturday. The other breads will rotate through.
